Warranty

J & T Mountain Construction provides a one year warranty on construction. All assignable warranties are passed to the customer on completion of the project.

North Georgia Mountain Construction Styles

J & T Mountain Construction is a certified "Earthcraft Builder" and will build to this specification if requested. The majority of the homes that J &T Mountain Construction builds are at some level of this standard and we are more than willing to work with you on the level of this standard you would like to attain. J & T Mountain Construction has the experience to build homes in Ellijay, Georgia and the north Georgia mountains from modern to rustic.

North Georgia Custom Home Fee Structure

J & T Mountain Construction uses a cost plus a percentage builders fee for custom home construction. Contractor fee will differ based on size, scope and complexity of the project.

Home Building Affiliations

J & T Mountain Construction is a member in good standing of the National Association of Home Builders and the local Gilmer County Home Builders Association.

North Georgia Home Builders State Licensing

The State of Georgia does not currently require a builder's license for new home construction and re-modeling. This is however an upcoming requirement to be fulfilled by July of 2008. J & T Mountain Construction, Inc. will be licensed at or before that time.

Insurance

J & T Mountain Construction carries both Workers Compensation and General Liability insurance. A copy of our policies is available for your inspection at any time.

Banking

J & T Mountain Construction banks with United Community Bank in Ellijay, GA. Banking references are available on request.

Accounting

J & T Mountain Construction utilizes a Georgia State University degreed independent accountant for billing and record keeping. In the Atlanta area Bonnie Waldron was a corporate financial analyst and company controller.

Georgia Mountain Home Construction Customer References

J & T Mountain Construction arranges customer references on request. We respect the privacy of our customers and always ask their permission before arranging for a conversation with a new prospective customer. We are however, very happy to do this!

Ellijay and north Georgia mountain sub-contractors

J & T Mountain Construction uses primarily local, Ellijay and north Georgia, and not metro Atlanta sub contractors for its construction projects. Where a local talent is not available for certain types of construction an expert will be brought in from outside of the county.
